The Summer Flow League 2010 came to an end last night when the Flow Tards took the gold over Team 11 in the finals. It was an intense evening to say the least, with the top eight of fifteen teams going head to head for the title. The Flow Fish, Super Bad, Team 11 and the Flow Tards faced off in the semis but it was only the Flow Tards and Team 11 who saw the intensity of the final round. Congratulations to the Flow Tards who donned helmets and lens-less glasses last night, in true Flow League spirit, and walked away with gorgeous golden metals, a new addition to the league. The next Flow League is tentatively scheduled to kick off in a few weeks so stay tuned for updates! Check out the Facebook Album for MANY more pictures.
Week seven concluded the normal season of the Summer Flow League. Taco Surf rocked BMax yet again with cowgirl costumes complete with a lasso and, while they finished in last place, they surely deserve the gold medal for fashion.
Tensions were high this week after a Flow Felon got ahold of and de-fished a Flow Fish jersey. Bob Puetz was horrified and is ready to bring his A game in next week's match. Moving on to the finals from Division A are: The Flow Fish, The Flow Felons, Superbad and The Wetter, the Better. From Division B, the Flow Ho's, FlowTards, Barrel Kings and Team 11 will proceed to the finals. The final heats kick off at 6pm next Thursday so even if you didn't make it, come down and show your support. Check out MORE PICTURES on our Facebook Fan Page!
Week six of the Summer Flow League saw MUTINY on Bruticus Maximus! The lady pirates of Taco Surf took over the evening in typical swashbuckler fashion and escaped with an innocent monkey hostage. Keep an eye out - if you see them, be sure to report to the local authorities immediately. See the video below. In other delinquent news, the Flow Felons have stolen the number one ranked spot with only one week left to ride. Everyone else be forewarned - you get good karma for turning in novels for Flow League bios. Will they be able to hold their top spot? Only time will tell.
Wave Hog Bob Puetz donned his new pony board this week - complimented by the barnyard sounds of the Flow League emcees. The men on the mic also managed to get their hands on this season's Flow League Bios, so if you haven't checked yours out yet, be sure to do so...as everyone else has already heard what is written about you. To see more pictures, check out the slideshow below the video and to tag yourselves, check out the facebook album.
With over half of the Summer Flow League over and gone, riders have really been making the most of their time on BMax. This week, despite the confused weather, history was made. Amy Luis, number one rider for Taco Surf, joined her teammates in rocking some of the most over the top swag Bruticus has ever seen. With glittery 80s prom dresses and heels to match, the girls tore it up this week. What set Amy apart from the others though, was her never before done trick: wearing heels on the wave! Amy sported pumps along with a little black number and successfully crushed this brand new trick. Click HERE to see the video. Game on Silverman.
Other feats this week included number two rider Bob Puetz' sizable back side air and normally strapped rider Ryan Rosas riding strapped for the first time. The airs were sick guys, keep it up.

Week four of the Summer 2010 Flow League brought some out of towners to the barrel. World Champs Sean Silveira and Nick Nguyen subbed in for absent riders and showed how their FlowRider skills stood up to the barrel. Taco Surf was glammed out again clad in adorable cheer leading outfits, giving the crowd quite the show complete with cheers on the wave. Morgan Just, now the World Champ skimboarder, was clearly still in competition mode and shredded the wave like never before. In division A, The Flow Fish swam their way into the number one ranked spot with the Flow Felons scheming not far behind. No name team 7 and Super Bad are tied for third and it's anyone's game at this point. In Division B, The Barrel Kings reign over the number one spot, while the Flow Hos and the Flowtards drag behind in second and third. Team FOUR, shock gasp, is in last place. Check out more pictures on facebook.
Week three of the Summer 2010 Flow League kicked off with an invasion of super heroes, complete with capes, mystical shredding powers and unbelievable masks of disguise. The three female vigilantes were modest though, and didn't want to boast their superiority, and subsequently, they remain in 8th place. Superbad rocks an undefeated record here in week 3 taking the top spot in the league, while the Spring winners, the Flow Fish, are fighting hard for second. The judges were tough last night and only two riders managed to score 50 points or higher. Those fiesty mavericks were no other than Augie 'quick like a cat' Gatto and Eric 'wonderboy' Silverman. Congrats to all - check out more pics in the Facebook Album.
Week two of the 2010 Summer Flow League brought dozens of anxious riders to Bruticus Maximus. With some shred-tastic swag from our all girls team, Pink Taco Surf, and a few familiar faces filling in for absent riders, the night a total success. The Flow Felons lost their heat by only .5 points, getting them the silver medal. SuperBad, with two wins so far, is in the lead for the early heat, while the Barrel Kings are in the same spot in the later division.
