About the Band: SLOWER
Slower is the jazz/lounge/acoustic alter-ego of San Diego hard rock veterans, Mower. The beginnings of Slower came about when Mower decided to put the track "L.A. Riot" on their second CD, Not For You. "L.A. Riot" is a remanufacture of the song "Long Awaited Riot" from Mower's self-titled debut CD.

The band had a great time reworking the song and experimenting with different genres of music, and before long Mower had retuned enough of their songs to perform an entirely different set live. Armed with suits, ties, mowhawks and more the band began doing shows as Slower, and just recently recorded the first batch of Slower songs with producer Eddie Wohl (Anthrax, Ill Nino) in Los Angeles, due out in early 2009 on Suburban Noize Records.
